ESCAPE. That's what we needed. Joe and I love to travel and had been searching for the perfect getaway. Above all else, it had to be beautiful. But it also had to have plenty of opportunites to explore and relax. We found the perfect place in Medford & The Rogue Valley. It's in Southern Oregon, just a few miles over the California border, about halfway between San Francisco and Portland. It was the hidden gem we'd been looking for. --Emma

DAY 2

WINERY PICNIC

We were blown away by the number of wineries in and around Medford & The Rogue Valley! It was great being able to walk into a tasting room and talk to the owner or even the winemaker!

ZIPLINING

Ziplining in the Rogue Valley was so much fun! A little scary, but totally worth it. Rogue Valley Zipline Adventures has the longest line in the Pacific Northwest, and the views were incredible!

 

RAFTING THE ROGUE

Floating down the Wild & Scenic Rogue River was a blast! It was such a relaxing way to end our second day in Medford. I just wish we had time to do see all 33 miles of it.
